In 1973 the German tour operator Phoenix Reisen was founded. For more than 30 years cruises have been offered. Apart from the high sea cruising the tour operator offers river cruises to world wide destinations. The high sea ships are characterized by their small size visiting extraordinary ports. Many regular guests have travelled with Phoenix Reisen for the last decades and have appreciated the familiar and warm atmosphere.
Built in 1953, Marylou offers guests the very special charm of a classic river ship. With a length of almost 40 meters and a width of about 5 meters, it is very family-friendly for the maximum of 16 passengers. On board you can discover the beautiful Spreewald with its fantastic landscapes and at the same time relax in a pleasant atmosphere, whereby the small number of passengers allows a very personal service.

All staterooms aboard the Marylou are outside staterooms - each one has a small window that can be opened. The decor and design are functional and maritime. In addition, the cabins have a shower/toilet and an adjustable air conditioning.
