The tour operator and cruise provider Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973 and is specialized in high-quality river and ocean cruises. The portfolio includes not only classic river trips, e.g. on the Danube, the Rhine and the Volga, but also exotic routes such as cruises in South America, the Orient or the South Seas. Due to the small ship sizes, there is a family atmosphere on board. During the cruise you can enjoy high-quality dishes, from the maritime fish buffet to grilled specialties to desserts and cakes. The German-Brazilian Carlos Probst and his team run the Amazon Clipper Cruises shipping company. The cruise company has several ships and years of experience in expedition and boat trips to the Amazon and Rio Negro. The ship was built in 2005 and has been on these rivers for Phoenix Reisen for several years. Due to the low draft, it is ideal for the use in the shallow river waters and is an ideal symbiosis of the shape of the small Amazon boats and the comfort of a small cruise river boat - the best prerequisites for discovering the largest river system in the world. The ship offers space for 32 guests over a length of 32 m on 3 passenger decks.

All staterooms are comfortably furnished outside staterooms and about 11-13 sqm in size. Equipped with shower/WC, an individually adjustable air conditioning and a safe, the stateroom offers everything you need for an eventful Amazon river cruise. The voltage is 110 V AC. The windows in the staterooms can be opened. If desired, the beds can be separated or put together to form a double bed.

On board you will experience a calm, cosy and informal atmosphere in a small group. There are also lectures on the flora and fauna of the region. Light cotton clothing is recommended for the tropical climate. 

In the restaurant, which is already included in the price, the Amazon Clipper Premium's experienced kitchen crew provides a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are often served in buffet style. There is a common meal time on board, giving you more flexibility in planning your day and allowing you to decide whether you want to eat earlier or later. During the day, you will receive mineral water, tea and coffee free of charge. There is also a bar (not included) on the sun deck where you can enjoy your favorite drink.

A lounge with a small library and bar, as well as the sundeck with whirlpool invite you to relax on board. Overall, the ship offers less entertainment. The incomparable nature of the Amazon region offers sufficient excitement and adventure.

Through a variety of shore excursions, you have the opportunity to get to know the country and its people along the route. The excursion program is adapted to the length of stay of the ship and is accompanied by qualified tour guides. The excursions are usually in German language.When traveling with the Amazon Clipper Premium many excursions are already included.
